The S-Tamper automatically centers itself when placed on the portafilter and always sits 100% flat before the tamping process.
Hauck Tamper's proprietary pressure regulation system consists of precision mechanics that only activate when the pressing plate encounters resistance. This means the dynamometric mechanism triggers when a relatively large amount of coffee is used in the portafilter, ensuring the coffee grounds are always tamped with a consistent pressure – 100% reproducible.
